The real experience of Japanese Mountain Fishing Using Tenkara Rods

Tenkara fishing was a 200 year old practice in Japan, unknown to the rest of the world until the late 2000. These fishers were usually fishermen who would fish on the rivers on the mountain, and for this they needed utmost accuracy and perfection of their fishing rods. Tenkara Rods were traditionally made of bamboo and required perfection of the highest standards. They need to be very flexible on one end and also very sturdy on the other end where the fisherman was holding the rod.

Tenkara Rods in the modern world are very sophisticated with a lot of advancements. These rods are usually made of carbon fiber or fiber glass and are the perfect rods for fishing on mountainous rivers.  They are sturdy and provide ease of access to the string as well as the pole to control the bait and make the bait look as natural as possible when thrown on the surface of the water. These rods can be used both for saltwater as well as fresh water fishing. These rods are very effective in case of small stream fishing and when the flow of the river is slow. They are ineffective when trying to catch big fishes. Tenkara fishers primarily focus on small fishes, and can be experienced by using the effective Rod.

Engaging in fun fishing using Surf Casting Rods

Fishing inside the sea or a lake or a pond or even in a small stream of water is too main stream. What if there was another way to catch fishes by not stepping into the water? Sometimes a large chunk of fishes often come in around 20 feet away from the shore of a beach due to the pull of the waves. This is called surf fishing. This is the type of fishing that amateur anglers are first into, so that they can learn the basics of fishing using rods. Surf fishing as we see is the most common type of fishing. This is one of the most difficult techniques. Rods called Surf Casting Rods are used for Surf fishing.

These rods are majorly used on shores of the beach or lakes to catch fishes and are very effective in doing so. They have sturdy telescopic poles and the sensitivity of the string is decent enough to acknowledge when a fish has been caught. Surf Casting Rods have longer handles and have to be long enough to reach out into the waves for the strings to land into the water at the intended place. They are sturdy as well as compact in design.
